Our Story
A warm corner for practical tools, personal inspiration, and projects that make you want to keep going.
Made by a maker, for other makers
I'm Kelsey P., the fiber artist behind The Pattern Attic, based in Yuma, Arizona. My favorite part of making something by hand is watching tiny stitches or squares grow into something recognizable.
I started this space to make pixel patterns easier to follow. I know how tiring it can be to keep looking between a tiny chart and your work, especially when every color change means counting another block of squares.
Here you'll find original tapestry crochet patterns, real in-progress photographs, color-run stitch guides, and occasional journal entries about what inspires me, what I'm learning, and little tricks that make making feel easier.
Why the interactive flipbook?
The book-like reader was built to keep the photographs and instructions together. You can flip the pages like a project journal, zoom in, or switch to oversized counts for each row. The on-site version is free to browse. For makers who prefer to work offline, some designs have an optional paid PDF with a price shown on each individual pattern page.
A note on adapting a chart: Pixel art can inspire cross-stitch, knitting, beadwork, and many other gridded crafts. The written HDC instructions are specific to crochet; other crafts need their own gauge and techniques.
